D. Woods Opens Up About Feeling “Like a Piece of Meat” with Diddy

D. Woods, former member of the girl group Danity Kane, has spoken out about her experiences with Sean “Diddy” Combs amid ongoing allegations against the music mogul. In a recent interview with ABC News’ Eva Pilgrim, Woods described what she called “troubling interactions” with Diddy, alleging that he created a “verbally abusive work environment” for the group.

Woods explained that Diddy’s behavior was manipulative, saying, “He did it in different ways with all of us, you know, picking and prodding, just a way to chip and knock away, but then praise you.” When asked how the environment felt “predatory,” Woods responded, “Somebody constantly treating you like a piece of meat, only seeing, only valuing you for your sex appeal. In some of the environments, it was even scary to be by yourself.”

She also shared that she initially admired Diddy, viewing him as a “hero of our community,” before her experiences working with him changed her perspective. Reflecting on how she would handle an encounter with him today, Woods said, “I honestly do not know, but I don’t think you really have to say anything, as long as I’m holding my head up high and my shoulders back.”

Diddy Denies Allegations

Diddy and his legal team have strongly denied the claims made against him. In a statement to People, they criticized the documentaries and interviews addressing the allegations, calling them “one-sided and prejudicial.” The statement read: “These documentaries are rushing to cash in on the media circus surrounding Mr. Combs. The producers failed to provide sufficient time or details for his representatives to address unsubstantiated claims, many from unidentified participants whose allegations lack context. By withholding this information, they made it impossible for Mr. Combs to present facts to counter these fabricated accusations. This production is clearly intended to present a one-sided and prejudicial narrative. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every publicity stunt or facially ridiculous claim. He has full confidence in the facts and the judicial process, where the truth will prevail: the accusations against him are pure fiction.”

Diddy’s Legal Troubles

Woods’ interview comes as Diddy remains in custody in Brooklyn, awaiting trial on charges related to alleged sex trafficking. He has pleaded not guilty, and his trial is set to begin in May of this year. The allegations and legal proceedings have drawn significant media attention, with Woods’ account adding to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the music executive.
