Chrisean Rock Sentenced to Jail Time & Facing Extradition to Oklahoma

Chrisean Rock is set to serve time in a California jail before being extradited to Oklahoma to face additional legal issues.

According to booking records obtained by The Shade Room, Rock was sentenced on Friday, June 14th, in connection with a felony fugitive warrant from Oklahoma. A judge ordered her to serve 30 days in jail. An agent from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the warrant pertains to an “assault with a deadly weapon without a firearm” charge. This sentence, however, only addresses a separate case filed against her in California.

While the specific case in California was not clarified, James Wright Chanel filed assault charges against Rock in February. After completing her 30-day sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, she will be extradited to Oklahoma.

Chrisean Rock’s Legal Troubles

TMZ previously reported that the Oklahoma charges involve “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute” and “possession of a controlled dangerous substance.” After pleading not guilty, Rock was ordered to pay court fees, serve 120 hours of community service at a homeless shelter within six months, and was placed on supervised probation with instructions not to violate any laws.

Additionally, Rock faces assault charges from James Wright Chanel and a separate charge for “a new violent offense” against a woman in Maryland, dating back to last August.

Rock was arrested again on June 10 after appearing in court to support Blueface, the father of her child, in his own legal proceedings. Blueface is scheduled to reappear in court on July 29.
