Chrisean Rock Faces Backlash for Bringing Infant Son to Smoke Shop
Chrisean Rock is once again at the center of controversy after a video surfaced showing her inside a smoke shop with her infant son. The footage, originally posted on Snapchat and quickly shared across social media platforms, drew widespread criticism from viewers concerned about the child’s well-being after a video floated online.
In the now-viral clip, the Baddies star is seen holding her one-year-old son inside a retail space typically associated with tobacco and cannabis products. The setting immediately sparked concern among followers, many of whom questioned why such a young child was in that environment.

Looking at the air ,not even drinking the bottle..oh and that hernia is STILL THERE😵💫
Wouldn’t her walking and talking toddler be sitting up and at least looking at his surroundings?

ONLINE BACKLASH
The backlash intensified as users began tagging the smoke shop directly on Instagram, demanding accountability. In response, a store representative attempted to defend the situation via a private message, stating:
“She didn’t have him in the shop. She stop [sic] by to shop and baby looks very clean and took care of to me. It’s was no smoke. Baby wasn’t there the whole time.”
Despite the shop’s attempt at clarification, the video clearly shows the child inside the premises, which many critics say invalidates the explanation. The incident has reignited public debate over Rock’s parenting decisions—a recurring theme in her public life.
WALMART VIDEO BACKLASH
Earlier this year, Rock also came under fire after a video showed her at a Walmart, where her son’s head appeared to hang uncomfortably from a baby carrier. That clip similarly went viral, raising questions about the safety and care of the child.
At the time, Rock acknowledged she was still learning as a mother and expressed her intention to grow in that role. In the aftermath of this latest controversy, she briefly addressed the situation via Instagram Stories, writing:
“I’m not going live about nothing no more.”
This statement appears to signal a shift in how she handles public criticism moving forward.
The situation unfolds amid ongoing tensions with the child’s father, rapper Blueface, who is currently serving a prison sentence. He turned himself in to authorities in January 2025 and is expected to be released in January 2026.
