Cassie’s Alleged Texts to Diddy After Hotel Assault Leaked by Government

Cassie confronted Sean “Diddy” Combs in scathing alleged messages over his abusive behavior, according to a recent report by AllHipHop. These texts, released as part of a federal investigation into Diddy’s alleged involvement in sex trafficking, reportedly date back to 2016. They were allegedly sent after a violent incident in a Los Angeles hotel room, a moment that resurfaced in the public eye earlier this year through leaked footage.

The texts are linked to Cassie’s 2023 lawsuit against Diddy under the Adult Survivors Act. Although the case was swiftly settled, the details of the agreement remain undisclosed. The lawsuit brought renewed attention to allegations of abuse during their long-term relationship.

In the alleged texts, Cassie wrote, *”I have a black eye and a fat lip. You are sick for thinking it’s OK to do what you’ve done… I still have crazy bruising. […] I turn my head for a second, and you get f***ed up. And you drag me down the hall by my hair… I have bleeding cuts… You hit me in the head two good times. […] When you get f***ed up the wrong way, you always want to show me that you have the power and you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child.”*

Diddy publicly apologized for this incident earlier in 2024, after CNN released the footage. He called his actions “inexcusable” and stated he was undergoing therapy. However, while the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office did not pursue charges due to the statute of limitations, federal prosecutors are incorporating the abuse into their broader allegations of sex trafficking against him.

TMZ also reports a “high profile individual” is filing a lawsuit against Tony Buzbee for alleged extortion. This person claims they were close with Diddy and attended many functions with him. The Jane Doe alleges Buzbee is “shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him.” Overall, the lawsuit contains “wildly false horrific allegations,” Doe says.

This federal case continues to draw attention, underscoring the evolving public and legal reckoning around Diddy’s actions and legacy.
