Cassie Testifies Diddy Assaulted Her Over Attending Drake’s OVO Fest
Cassie Accuses Diddy of Physical Assault Over OVO Fest Attendance During Emotional Court Testimony
The federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to unfold, and on her second day on the witness stand, singer and former partner Cassie Ventura delivered harrowing testimony alleging multiple instances of abuse during their relationship—including a disturbing incident tied to Drake’s OVO Fest.

Under questioning by Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson, Cassie detailed an alleged violent outburst in 2016 when she informed Diddy she planned to attend the OVO Fest in Toronto, hosted by Drake. “Sean came to my home and tried to attack me,” she testified. “I was thrown into the bed frame.” She added that the altercation resulted in visible injuries, including a damaged eye. According to her statement, Diddy’s associate, D-Roc, later drove her to the doctor for medical treatment.

“Sean came to my home & tried to attack me. I was thrown into the bed frame,” she alleged. Cassie also seemingly confirmed that her eye was injured as a result of the alleged attack, and that D-Roc took her to a doctor to have it looked at.
During a recent stream, DJ Akademiks reacted to these claims. He speculated that Drake tried to get with Cassie at OVO Fest.

Akademiks believes this allegedly resulted in a fight between the two hip hop icons during Basel week in 2014.
CIVIL LAWSUIT FILED
This explosive accusation adds to a growing list of disturbing claims Ventura has made against the hip-hop mogul during the high-profile federal trial. Cassie, who filed a civil lawsuit in 2023 (which was later settled), is now a key witness in the broader criminal investigation into Diddy’s alleged history of sex trafficking, physical abuse, and coercion.
Ventura also expanded on the coercive sexual encounters she previously described—allegedly orchestrated by Diddy and referred to as “freak-offs.” According to her testimony, these were drug-fueled sex parties where she was often pressured to participate in degrading acts. In one of the most disturbing examples, Cassie claimed an escort urinated on her during one of these encounters, which prosecutors argue was not consensual despite what the escort claimed.
Cassie’s detailed accounts are painting a grim picture of her relationship with Combs, highlighting the alleged manipulation, violence, and psychological trauma she endured.
As the trial progresses, the court continues to hear testimonies from other individuals tied to the ongoing investigation, while Diddy maintains his innocence and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
