Cardi B Reacts To Kamala Harris Endorsement Claims By Candace
Cardi B, who has been vocal in her support for Kamala Harris, recently addressed speculation from conservative commentator Candace Owens regarding her endorsement. While Harris ultimately lost to Republican candidate Donald Trump in last week’s election, Cardi and other celebrities have continued to defend their endorsement of Harris, standing by her platform. Owens, however, took to Twitter to question whether Cardi was paid by the Harris campaign for her rally appearance just before election day.
CARDI B WILL DEBATE FOR FREE
In response, Cardi B made it clear that her political advocacy isn’t driven by money. “I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!” Cardi tweeted back. “I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be. Like please, girl—you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE.” This exchange marks another chapter in the ongoing clash between Cardi and Owens over political views.

Cardi B has been a lightning rod for criticism from conservative voices, including Owens and Ben Shapiro, ever since she entered the political conversation during the 2020 election. Owens has argued that Cardi isn’t a suitable role model, while Shapiro famously criticized her hit song “WAP” in a viral moment. However, Cardi had the last laugh after Joe Biden’s victory was announced, celebrating his win with a post on Instagram that included a few jabs at her critics, including Owens and Shapiro.
