Cam’ron & Mase Decline Mike Tyson’s Walk-Out Offer for Jake Paul Fight

Cam’ron and Mase have shared why they refused an offer to accompany Mike Tyson during his walk-out for the upcoming fight against Jake Paul. On Tuesday’s episode of It Is What It Is, Cam’ron expressed concerns about being blamed if the boxing legend lost the match. This decision comes on the heels of Tyson’s recent medical scare while flying from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.

“They offered us the walkout with Mike Tyson,” Cam’ron explained. “This was before this incident and I’m like, ‘I’m not sure if I want to do that.’ Now, I’m probably not going to do it. ‘Cause I don’t want people blaming me if he loses. Like when Devin Haney lost to Ryan Garcia, people said, ‘Why was he wearing Balenciaga sneakers?’ If we walk Mike out and he doesn’t win, I don’t need that kind of pressure.”

Cam’ron also speculated about Tyson’s reported ulcer flare-up, hinting it might be an “escape plan” from facing Paul, who is 30 years his junior.

MIKE TYSON HAS BUILT IN EXCUSE?

“I hope Mike is well,” he said. “But it sounds like Mike is trying to find a way out. I know he shouldn’t need one, but if they took him off this plane, we want to make sure he’s okay. But are we having a fight or not? Is the fight still on?”

“Before this, I had Mike winning the fight. Now, I don’t know,” he added.
