Cam’ron Claps Back at Dame Dash With Freestyle After $300M Lawsuit
The long-standing feud between Dame Dash and Cam’ron has reached a boiling point, with both sides trading shots in music and the courtroom.
Earlier this month, 50 Cent revealed that he had acquired the rights to Paid In Full and is developing a premium television adaptation with Cam’ron as executive producer. The announcement quickly reignited old tensions between Dash and the Harlem rapper.
Dame Dash Files $300 Million Lawsuit
Not long after 50’s announcement, Roc-A-Fella co-founder Dame Dash launched a massive $300 million lawsuit against Cam’ron. According to Dash, Cam has made false and damaging remarks about his businesses, crossing a line by involving his family.
“I never hustled with @mr_camron, he’s a civilian,” Dash wrote on Instagram. “But he’s f*cking with my family office and now made my wife and two of my sons uncomfortable. I would never do anything violent… this is the only way I can handle this. So this is my version of how the Godfather handled Fredo. I knew it was going to be one of my brothers, I just didn’t know it was going to be you bro. And that does make me sad.”
Dash closed his post with a stern warning:
“We’ll just have to let a judge decide like businessmen. And I don’t find it funny. I hope you don’t have any houses in your name, they’re about to be mine 😂.”
Cam’ron Responds With “When I See You” Freestyle
Just hours after Dash’s Instagram statement, Cam’ron clapped back with his new freestyle “When I See You” and an accompanying video. In it, the Dipset rapper takes aim at Dash, mocking his dental issues and throwing more fuel on their already fiery dispute.
Cam also addressed Dash’s claims that he was left out of Paid In Full’s new adaptation. According to Cam, he actually tried to help his former friend by securing him a potential show deal at Revolt TV. The only condition was that Dash would have to accept Cam as executive producer—something Dash reportedly took issue with.
50 Cent’s Role In The Drama
The drama intensified when 50 Cent hyped up his new Paid In Full project on Instagram, writing:
“If you like Godfather of Harlem you’re gonna love this. Cam set to executive produce alongside me. If you want in, get at him. I’m out of the country.”
Dash quickly trolled both 50 and Cam after the post, setting the stage for the latest round of back-and-forth.
👉 What do you think—will this feud stay in the booth and courtroom, or will it spill further into hip-hop culture?
