Biggie Expressed Frustration With Diddy To Tupac Says EDI Mean

Tupac’s Outlawz member reveals Biggie conversation with Pac.

The Outlawz are apart of hip hip history being alongside Tupac Shakur in the East and West Coast infamous beef in the 90s.

With the latest media blitz surrounding the founder of Bad Boy Records, EDI Mean has revealed stories about Biggie Smalls back in the early days of the music label. EDI Mean states that he met Notorious B.I.G. through an introduction by Tupac.

BIGGIE SMALLS WANTED TO BE APART OF THUG LIFE

The origin of Bad Boy Records included Craig Mack who had the hit single “Flavor In Ya Ear,” but Biggie Smalls was growing weary of the lack of direction he was in. According to EDI Mean, he wanted to put out music even if it meant he had to do it through Tupac’s group Thug Life.

“We did work on a song called Running From The Police with Biggie, Stretch, Tupac (RIP), Kadafi, Castro, and myself,” says EDI Mean. Recollecting on the night of the recording, EDI Mean says many top hip hop artists and music executives were on hand.

He also revealed, “this was before Biggie had his deal” and was “still very frustrated with what was going on between him and Puffy.” Tupac also told Notorious B.I.G. according to EDI Mean, “be patient that dude could make you a star.”

Tupac’s prediction came to fruition as he would become highly successful in the world of hip hop under Sean Combs. EDI Mean also says that he always felt a certain negative vibe to Diddy.

EDI Mean also spoke about the arrest of Diddy and admits he “takes no pleasure in seeing the downfall of another man.” Despite him being the “villain character” in The Outlawz story with Tupac, EDI Mean rather be victorious on their own merits. He also says the news is making a bigger deal out of Diddy’s arrest than the historical possibility of the first ever woman president.
