Beyoncé’s Choreographer Reports Theft of Unreleased Music in Atlanta – 911 Call Released

New details have emerged following the recent break-in involving Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, during her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Atlanta. The incident occurred last week when Grant and one of Beyoncé’s dancers, Diandre Blue, discovered their rented Jeep Wagoneer had been broken into near the popular Krog Street Market. The theft, which happened while they were away from the vehicle for approximately an hour, has led to heightened concern within Beyoncé’s camp due to the sensitive nature of what was stolen.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the thieves smashed the vehicle’s rear window and made off with two suitcases containing valuable and confidential materials. Among the stolen items were hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music, show footage plans, watermarked files, and both past and future setlists tied to the “Cowboy Carter” tour. Personal belongings such as laptops, designer sunglasses, AirPods Max headphones, and clothing were also taken.

Police documentation highlights the significance of the theft. “Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” the report states. “He advised he was her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta were stolen also. The hard drives contained watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set lists.

Audio of Distressed 911 Call Surfaces

Adding another layer to the story, audio of Grant’s 911 call has now been released, capturing the choreographer’s immediate reaction to the break-in. Sounding visibly shaken, Grant can be heard telling the dispatcher, “Someone broke into my car… they stole my computers and everything. It’s really, really important information. I work with someone who’s of a high status and I really need my computer and everything.” The clip was first published by The Shade Room.

Grant also informed authorities that he was actively using Apple’s Find My app to try and track his stolen electronics.

Investigation Ongoing

At this time, there is no confirmation that any of the stolen items have been recovered. However, police did manage to collect two sets of fingerprints from the vehicle and have reportedly issued an arrest warrant for a suspect. Surveillance footage from nearby security cameras captured the incident, though no arrests have been made as of now.

The theft has raised concerns not just due to the high-profile nature of the victims but also because of the potential leak of unreleased Beyoncé material, which remains highly sensitive and closely guarded within the music industry.
