Beyoncé Fans Brawl in VIP Lounge After Cowboy Carter Tour Kickoff

The launch of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour was supposed to be a night of celebration, music, and unity—but things got unexpectedly messy after the show in Los Angeles.

Following the first performance at SoFi Stadium, tensions flared in the VIP Lounge area, leading to a heated altercation between several concertgoers. According to TMZ, a group of women began shouting at one another as fans were exiting the venue. While the exact cause of the disagreement remains unknown, speculation suggests that either simmering issues from inside their suite or unfamiliarity among the women may have led to the incident.

LADY IN RED

The scene escalated when one woman confronted another wearing a white cowboy hat and denim jacket, knocking the hat off her head. Moments later, the confrontation turned physical, with the instigator shoving a third woman—dressed in red—who appeared to be trying to defuse the situation. She fell to the ground in surprise, prompting the woman in the cowboy hat to step in. Unfortunately, she was also pushed and fell during the scuffle.

Another clip of the altercation showed one of the women kicking the cowboy hat-wearer with a boot while she was down. No serious injuries were reported, and the altercation appeared to be brief. SoFi Stadium and Beyoncé’s team have not commented on the incident.

Despite the chaos, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour is officially underway. The limited-run trek will hit major cities across North America and Europe, including Chicago, Atlanta, Paris, and New Jersey, before wrapping up in Las Vegas on July 26.

What do you think sparked the fight—and will it impact the vibe of future tour stops?

BEYONCE COUNTRY ALBUM

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album is her bold and genre-defying dive into country music, released on March 29, 2024. It’s the second act of her Renaissance trilogy and serves as both a love letter to and a critique of the country music industry, particularly its history of excluding Black artists.
