Aubrey O’Day Feels “Validated” After Diddy’s Federal Indictment

DANITY KANE MEMBER JUMPS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Following Diddy’s arrest on Monday night on charges of alleged racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, singer Aubrey O’Day expressed feeling “validated.” She shared her reaction on X (formerly Twitter) after news of the arrest broke. According to Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, the music mogul plans to plead not guilty, stating, “He’s not guilty. He’s innocent of these charges.”

Shortly after the arrest, O’Day posted: “The purpose of justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things are finally changing.” When journalist Yashar Ali noted that O’Day had endured years of bullying, threats, and harassment for speaking out about Diddy, she replied: “He did worse than that to me. And thank you Yashar for this post. Appreciate you being in my corner and believing me. Xo.”

Diddy’s Arraignment and O’Day’s Past With Him

O’Day had worked with Diddy during her time with Danity Kane, a group he formed and managed, from 2006 to 2008 before she was dismissed from the band. She has previously spoken out about her experiences working with him. Earlier this year, after footage resurfaced of Diddy allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend Cassie, O’Day took to social media, saying: “Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did.”
