Amadeus, Multi Platinum Producer Talks Working With Chris Brown, G Unit, Trey Songz & More

WorldWide Entertainment TV Throwback Thursday takes a look at the WWETV New York interview with multiple platinum selling producer Antwan Thomas aka Amadeus.

Recently interviewed with CBS New York, he told the mainstream media outlet, “I was really passionate about music and passionate about musicianship and wanting to just play and one day tour the world,” said Amadeus. “It’s a blessing man. One thing I’ve always done was look back on the hardships, look back on the struggle, look back on what it took for me to get to where I am today.”

In 2023, he is touring worldwide with the likes of Trey Songz, Rick Ross and Chris Brown. He has worked with them in the past and also with Bad Boy Records and G Unit. He revealed this in his interview with Ms. Goldi at the New York Youtube studios.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TODAY AND YESTERDAY PRODUCING MUSIC

“I produced for over 70 artists, range from J. Lo, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Fab, Dipset, G Unit, the list goes on and on.” The veteran of production explained what he believes is a drastic change in the music industry stating, “not being able to go into the studio with artists and producers and kind of vibe and connect and really build and create dope songs together.”

Continuing on the differences today compared to yesteryear, “Nowadays that chemistry is not really there anymore. It’s turned into a business where us producers are sending beats via email and online.”

WHAT DOES HIS 2023 PLANS LOOK LIKE?

In addition to touring as a drummer with major artists, Amadeus also looks out for the future generation.

Amadeus is now the CEO of Platinum Boy Music, Inc., a brand ambassador and has a residency in Las Vegas doing the thing that has started it all, playing those electrifying drums.

“As I get older it’s more about making an impact,” said Amadeus, “and making sure that these young kids know that they have choices.”
