Young Thug Extends Olive Branch to Quavo After Migos Diss Controversy
Young Thug’s upcoming album UY SCUTI seems to be doubling as a peace tour. Following weeks of controversy surrounding leaked jail calls and old grudges, Thugger is making efforts to repair fractured relationships within hip-hop. One of the most notable tensions he recently addressed involves Quavo and the Migos.
The drama began when a leaked jail call captured Young Thug making remarks about the Migos’ financial situation—comments widely interpreted as a diss. In a later interview with Big Bank, however, Thug appeared to shift the narrative, suggesting his criticism was aimed more at Quality Control Music CEO Pierre “P” Thomas rather than the group itself. Still, many fans took the comments personally on behalf of the Migos.
On Sunday (September 14), Thug reached out directly to Quavo in a tweet later deleted but reported by DJ Akademiks. In the message, he expressed love for his longtime peer while honoring the late Takeoff:
“@QuavoStuntin I love u brada u no I’m overly with yo game till we die kid #RipRocketMan”
The gesture is significant given the complicated history. While Thug has already issued apologies or reconciled with artists like Drake, Future, Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, and even his girlfriend Mariah The Scientist—after admitting to infidelity—his relationship with Quavo had remained unaddressed until now.

Whether Quavo will respond remains uncertain. Since Thug’s release, the two have reportedly spent time together privately, but no public confirmation has surfaced. Meanwhile, Offset has openly supported Gunna through multiple collaborations, a dynamic that some fans speculate has strained his ties with Thug.
For now, the situation is in limbo. With hip-hop alliances constantly shifting, fans agree on one clear sign of reconciliation: music. A new Quavo and Young Thug collaboration could be the ultimate proof that the bridge has been rebuilt.
