Wu-Tang Clan icon RZA has a bold idea for Rihanna and ASAP Rocky as they prepare to welcome their third child — name the baby after the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

Speaking with PEOPLE at the Nobody 2 premiere in Los Angeles this week, the legendary producer and rapper explained his reasoning in just a few words:

“You know what? ODB, because you know the legend must live on,” RZA declared.

Rihanna & ASAP Rocky’s Growing Family

Rihanna confirmed in March 2025 that she is expecting her third child with ASAP Rocky. The superstar couple already share two sons — RZA, born in 2022, and Riot Rose, born in 2023. Fans have been celebrating the news ever since, eagerly speculating about the name of their newest addition.

The pair have previously hinted that their third child’s name will also start with the letter “R,” continuing the theme set by their first two children. However, no other details have been revealed.
