Cassie’s emotional testimony continued Wednesday in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing criminal trial, revealing more disturbing allegations from their past relationship. During the hearing, Cassie accused the Bad Boy mogul of becoming violent after discovering she was romantically involved with rapper Kid Cudi.

According to Cassie, the incident occurred during one of Diddy’s infamous “freak-off” parties in 2011. She stated that he became enraged after reading emails on her phone, which revealed her relationship with Cudi. In a fit of rage, Diddy allegedly lunged at her with a wine opener. Cassie said she managed to escape the hotel room and called Kid Cudi to come pick her up.

Later, when Cassie returned to Diddy’s home, she described him as “irate.” She testified that Diddy threatened to harm both her and Cudi, saying he had compromising videos he could release and that he would “hurt Scott and I.” Cassie further alleged that Diddy told her Cudi’s car would be blown up. Soon after, Kid Cudi’s car did explode in his driveway—a connection that drew gasps in the courtroom.

The incident led to a tense meeting between Diddy, Cassie, and Kid Cudi at Soho House, according to her testimony.

Footage and Further Claims

In addition to her verbal testimony, previously unreleased security footage was made available to the public. The 15-minute video shows the aftermath of the infamous 2016 incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. In it, Israel Florez—then a security guard—can be seen investigating the scene.

Cassie also spoke about the emotional toll Diddy’s alleged abuse took on her. She revealed that by early 2023, she had entered rehab and trauma therapy due to suicidal thoughts and flashbacks. Recalling a breaking point, she testified:

“I didn’t want to be alive anymore at that point. I couldn’t take the pain that I was in anymore, and so I just tried to walk out the front door into traffic—and my husband would not let me.”
