6ix Bangers Only’s Top 10 Most Garbage Toronto Rappers

In memory of Lloyd Hastings, a valued contributor to this blog.

Toronto is widely known for producing major hip hop talent like Drake and Tory Lanez. But not every artist from the 6ix earns praise. Local vlogger 6ix Bangers Only has stirred up controversy by naming and shaming what he calls the Top 10 Garbage Rappers in Toronto.

As Toronto continues to ride the wave of global hip hop recognition, voices like 6ix Bangers Only are shining a harsh spotlight on artists he believes are damaging the city’s rap image. Here’s his list of the worst rappers currently repping Toronto.

10. Lady SB

Kicking off the list is Lady SB, who recently released a diss track aimed at fellow Toronto rapper Chromazz. The track targeted Chromazz over her controversial involvement with DJ Akademiks and Adam22 from No Jumper. Despite the hype, 6ix Bangers Only wasn’t impressed, calling Lady SB’s approach hypocritical and her delivery lacking. He didn’t hesitate to place her among the worst female rappers in Toronto.

9. Chromazz

Next up is Chromazz, a rapper who once went viral after taking a photo with Drake and calling herself the “Queen of the 6ix.” Her past media appearances, including an interview with WorldWide Entertainment TV, and her brief moment hosting TDotFest helped elevate her visibility. However, her music hasn’t followed suit. 6ix Bangers Only simply called her music “terrible.”

8. MO-G

MO-G, a Regent Park rapper, once accused Drake and his manager Oliver El-Khatib of cultural appropriation and unpaid contributions to major Billboard hits. Despite having influence, his music hasn’t stood the test of time. 6ix Bangers Only ranks him at number 8, questioning both his career trajectory and consistency.

7. D Money Dolla Sign

According to 6ix Bangers Only, D Money Dolla Sign has the confidence but not the skill. He believes the rapper should “stay in school” and criticizes both his engineer and inner circle for failing to give honest feedback. In his words, D Money has “never made a good song.”

6. Hypa Shots Up Mafia

Ranked sixth is Hypa Shots Up Mafia, a rapper 6ix Bangers Only believes had no business entering a recording booth. He jokingly suggests the rapper might’ve been under the influence when he decided to pursue music, calling the entire effort a waste of production.

5. Bolo Boss 16

Bolo Boss 16 makes the top five for what 6ix Bangers Only describes as a lack of “rap credibility.” Despite claiming to thrive off haters, his music videos and style miss the mark for broader appeal. 6ix Bangers points out that image alone isn’t enough to carry an artist.

4. Foreign Enanita

Coming in at number four, Foreign Enanita is accused of exploiting her culture as a distraction from weak lyrical content. 6ix Bangers Only criticizes her engineers for not being truthful and says there’s “nothing to hate on” when it comes to her music. Ouch.

3. MJ & CloutGirl

This duo earns third place even though their song has some catchy elements. 6ix Bangers Only suggests that their music reflects poor studio decisions made while “under the influence.” He says their work is disrespectful to Toronto’s rich hip hop legacy.

2. OG Keez

Representing the Jane-Finch area, OG Keez might have once stood for OG Toronto rap—but that image took a hit. After admitting in a song that he “cried over a girl,” the leaked audio went viral on sites like Worldstar, causing widespread ridicule. For 6ix Bangers Only, that moment alone was enough to place him second on the worst rapper list.

1. Friday Ricky Dred (We Love Hip Hop Podcast)

At the top of the list, 6ix Bangers Only crowns Friday Ricky Dred, founder of the We Love Hip Hop podcast, as Toronto’s most garbage rapper. According to him, Friday was a “cap rapper” before the term became popular. It’s worth noting that there’s known podcast beef between the two, which may have fueled this ranking.

Final Thoughts

Whether you agree or not, 6ix Bangers Only has sparked a conversation about the quality of Toronto’s underground rap scene. As Toronto continues to grow as a hub for global hip hop, debates like this one will only intensify.
