50 Cent Says He Turned Down $3 Million To Perform At Trump Rally
50 Cent and Donald Trump have a history marked by both public commentary and occasional interaction, but their relationship has been largely characterized by 50 Cent’s blunt statements about Trump.
When the former and possible future President of the United States got shot earlier this year, many people online started viral clips using the iconic “Many Men” single by Curtis Jackson. The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ anthem has become a rallying cry of sorts for Trump in the wake of his assassination attempt. The businessman that 50 Cent is, he jumped on the viral nature of the incident by showcasing Trump on the infamous album cover and performed the song in front of a live audience as seen below.
During the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, when 50 Cent briefly endorsed Trump. He publicly commented on Joe Biden’s proposed tax policies, expressing concern over the potential tax increase for high-income earners, which led him to endorse Trump’s re-election. However, after facing backlash, he quickly backtracked, making it clear he didn’t genuinely support Trump’s policies and even joked about leaving the U.S. if Trump were to win.
50 CENT INTERVIEW ON POLITICS
50 Cent joked that young black men could associate with Trump because he is a criminal who survived a shooting earlier in the year.
Now during an interview with Breakfast Club, 50 Cent reveals that he turned down an offer of $3 million dollars to perform his single at a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden. He admitted to being “afraid of politics.”

Social media comments included “50 a smart men why divide your fans 😂 like MJ said republicans buy shoes 2” and “He did it for em cuz em don’t like trump.” Eminem recently endorsed Kamala Harris in Detroit.
50 Cent believes politics “when you do get involved with it, someone passionately disagrees with you.” He made mention of how Kanye took a stand with Trump and jokingly says he can now only perform in Japan. 50 also spoke about the situation with Chicago rapper Lil Durk.
