In 2019 on social media, 50 Cent claimed that Chris Brown is better than Michael Jackson, implying that the competition doesn’t stand a chance. The comments section quickly lit up with backlash, but 50 Cent remained steadfast. “Repeat after me: MJ was great, but it’s CB’s turn,” he wrote. While the exchange between the G-Unit leader and Jackson’s fans was certainly entertaining, it’s worth noting that Chris Brown himself recently praised the King of Pop as the greatest of all time. Whether in response to 50 Cent or simply expressing his own views, Brown made it clear where he stands.

Many of Jackson’s fans echoed Brown’s sentiment. “Until Chris Brown can stand on stage and do absolutely nothing while people faint, he ain’t on that MJ level yet lol close but not quite there yet,” one fan commented. “He’s got a lot of work ahead. As a performer, his moves are more advanced, and he’s more athletic, but that’s about it. I love C Breezy—he deserves more appreciation.”
