2Pac Alleged Killer Keefe D Denied Bail After Alleging Jail Guards Beat Him

Keefe D’s Courtroom Outburst Over Tupac Murder Charges: Claims of Assault and Bail Denial

Duane “Keefe D” Davis, is the man who is wanted for the murder of Tupac Shakur. He erupted in anger during a Las Vegas court hearing on Tuesday after being denied bail once again. The 61-year-old former Compton crime boss claimed he was assaulted while jailed at the Clark County Detention Center, sparking a tense exchange with Judge Carli Kierny.

Keefe D, visibly agitated, told the court that he feared for his life after being attacked in his cell on August 9. He alleged that two correctional officers brutally beat him, leaving him battered and bruised, and made the shocking, unsubstantiated claim that prosecutors had sent the officers to attack him.

ALLEGED JAIL ATTACK

“They brutally beat me up, attacked me, and assaulted me,” Keefe D declared in court. “I told them I had cancer and am on blood thinners.” He further claimed that when he asked for the officers’ names, their sergeant quickly removed them from the scene according to the Mirror.

Keefe also stated that other prisoners witnessed the alleged attack and suggested that a video camera may have recorded the incident. Judge Kierny, acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, warned Keefe, “You have made very serious allegations regarding police brutality and the DAs orchestrating some kind of attack on you.” She advised him to have his attorney, Carl Arnold, file motions and present evidence to support his claims.

However, Keefe D was not satisfied with the suggestion, responding, “That’s wrong. I am on blood thinners… a bloody nose, and you can die.” He expressed his frustration with the deputies, asking them to show compassion.

Despite his outburst, Judge Kierny urged Arnold to submit the necessary paperwork on behalf of Keefe D. In response to the accusations, Prosecutor Binu Palal told *The U.S. Sun* that he “would not dignify Mr. Davis’ allegations with a response.”

KEEFE D’S COURTROOM ANTICS

Before the hearing, Keefe D was seen slumped in his chair, separated from the other defendants, visibly frustrated by the prosecution’s arguments. At one point, he was overheard sighing deeply in dissatisfaction and even smirked at the media present in the courtroom.

Keefe’s outburst came shortly after Judge Kierny ruled that he would not be granted bail, following a 20-minute hearing at the Las Vegas Judicial Court. Keefe D has spent the past eight months attempting to raise funds for his release on house arrest, arguing that he is legally allowed to profit from his reputation, given that he has not been convicted of Tupac’s murder.

Keefe’s lawyer, Carl Arnold, appeared via FaceTime and requested more time to review documents from the Los Angeles Police Department related to the case. He also indicated plans to file motions to dismiss the case or challenge the evidence presented by prosecutors. The trial, initially scheduled for November, was postponed to March 17, 2025.

WACK 100 SCENARIO

Judge Kierny previously expressed concerns about the source of funds for Keefe’s $112,500 bail bond, which was supplied by rap entertainer Cash “Wack 100” Jones. Prosecutors accused Keefe and Jones of misleading the court about Jones’ motive for providing the bond. In recorded jail phone calls, Keefe was heard discussing a potential TV deal with Jones, who allegedly mentioned involving a “Jewish partner” from “Paragon” and producing at least ten episodes before the trial began.

Despite the defense’s efforts, prosecutors have consistently pushed for Keefe D to remain in custody, arguing that he poses a danger to the community and alleging that he had discussed having a potential witness killed.
