19 Year Old Sade Robinson Mutilated After 1st Date
Maxwell S. Anderson, apprehended a week ago, now faces charges in connection to the killing and dismemberment of 19-year-old Sade Carleena Robinson.
These charges validate suspicions that had been growing since the discovery of human remains in a Cudahy park on April 2nd, which were later confirmed to belong to Robinson, who had been reported missing the same day. As additional remains were found in Milwaukee in the following days, the case garnered significant attention.
According to the criminal complaint, Anderson and Robinson met for a first date on April 1st. They dined together, visited a bar, and eventually ended up at Anderson’s residence on Milwaukee’s south side. Through surveillance footage, witness testimonies, and phone tracking records, authorities reconstructed their movements over a 16-hour period, beginning with their dinner.
Anderson now faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse, and arson. During his court appearance, bail was set at $5 million.
At a joint press conference with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and the Milwaukee Police Department, officials stated that the search for remains continues, and the investigation into motive remains active. They refrained from commenting on specific evidence found at Anderson’s home, although the complaint mentioned the discovery of blood on bedding and walls.
Sheriff Denita Ball noted that, at present, there’s no evidence suggesting additional victims.
During the court hearing, Assistant District Attorney Ian Vance-Curzan highlighted the ongoing efforts to locate Robinson’s remains, emphasizing Anderson’s apparent attempts to conceal the crime. He described the allegations as “abhorrent” and characterized the level of violence involved as extreme.
Following the hearing, Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough, expressed her anger towards Anderson and lamented the loss of her daughter. Robinson, described as a bright young woman with aspirations in criminal justice and potentially the U.S. Air Force, had a promising future ahead of her.

The events leading up to Robinson’s disappearance, as detailed in the complaint, involve her meeting Anderson for dinner at the Twisted Fisherman restaurant. Subsequent investigations traced their movements to various locations before Robinson’s phone was last tracked to Warnimont Park, where a severed human leg was discovered.
Anderson’s arrest followed shortly thereafter, revealing a prior criminal history, including misdemeanor convictions for disorderly conduct and domestic violence.
Despite his history, Anderson was known as a “good worker” at local establishments, where he was generally well-liked.
